1996 - Settled in Canada, studied English.
1992-96 - Settled in Belgrade, Serbia. Directed documentaries, music videos, corporate videos and commercials. Worked as a Production Chief for Srna Film, Belgrade and as a director for Authors Studio, Belgrade. Learned tape editing
1987-92 - worked full time at Sarajevo TV, Bosnia. Directed various programs, but mostly arts & entertainment shows, rock shows and music videos
1985-87 - Freelance screenwriter and director (actually, all the time I worked at Sarajevo Radio Television)
1981-85 - Free lance film critic for daily and weekly newspapers and film magazines (Vecernje Novine, Dani, Svijet, Sineast, Sarajevo)
- From 1985 to 1996 I directed various programs and wrote a number of screenplays for children programs (Selected Yugoslav credits: Zozonian Layer - TV series on arts & subculture; How was shot Time of Gypsies by Emir Kusturica?,documentary about three time Cannes Film Festival winner director; BANANA TV, screenplay for children TV series; Hamlet, TV feature etc.)

- Silver Knight for documentary Peace in the Village of Janja (director) at International Film Festival of Slavic Cultures (Novi Sad, 1993)
Award Mr. Satri for the best rock show in former Yugoslavia in 1991
- I was involved in a number of other projects that were awarded such as Dobre Vibracije- one of four directors (Prix Danube in 1985), documentary The Story of Emir Mesic scenario (Golden Medal of Belgrade in 1991) etc.
